MAGGI has taken a bold step to strengthen its connection with younger consumers by unveiling rising music sensation Qing Madi as the face of its latest campaign, “Me & MAGGI, So Good Together.” The launch, held at the headquarters of Nestlé Nigeria in Lagos, signals a shift in the brand’s approach ; positioning itself not just as a trusted kitchen staple, but as an integral part of the culture, emotions, and shared experiences shaping today’s generation.
At the heart of the campaign is the evolving role of food in modern life, especially among Gen Z. No longer just about nourishment, food has become a medium for creativity, self-expression, and social connection. Building on the success of its “Taste of Christmas” campaign, MAGGIMAGGI continues to align its storytelling with how young people create, remix, and share everyday moments, making the brand more relevant in a fast-changing cultural landscape.
Speaking at the unveiling, Category Manager for Culinary at Nestlé Nigeria, Funmi Osineye, highlighted the importance of authenticity in connecting with today’s audience. She noted that Qing Madi’s voice, style, and strong connection with young people make her a natural fit for the brand’s new direction. The artist also expressed excitement about the partnership, describing it as a meaningful collaboration that reflects how her generation engages with food, creativity, and identity.
To bring the campaign to life, the unveiling was designed as an intimate, home-inspired experience where food, music, and culture intersected. Guests including media, influencers, and close associates were immersed in interactive zones such as a Content Tunnel, Music and Culture Lounge, and Photo Studio. With this initiative, MAGGI reinforces its legacy while embracing new cultural expressions, ensuring it remains both familiar and forward-looking in its appeal across generations.
