No government or corporate entity can single-handedly cater to all community needs; reason Lions International, the world largest service organisation and a stalwart advocate for quality membership, exemplifies this approach.
Lions Clubs District 404B2 Nigeria, under the leadership of the former District Governor, Lion Tolulope Senbanjo for 2024-2025 Lions Service Year, (Immediate Past District Governor 2025-2026 ) has been recognized as the winner of the 2024-2025 Jesse Robinson Membership Growth Cup.
This achievement underscores the district’s strategic efforts to expand its reach and positively impact lives through enhanced service delivery, acknowledging that a stronger membership base translates to more impactful community support.
In his appreciation message to all Lions and Clubs in District 404B2 Nigeria , he said “it is with immense joy and a deep sense of pride that l announce to you that our beloved District 404B2 has been awarded the prestigious 2024-2025 Jesse Robinson Membership Growth Cup”
The IPDG continues, “This globally recognized honour is presented to the district in each Constitutional Area with the highest membership growth rate for the service year, I am excited to share that our district emerged top in our Constitutional Area, a testament to your unwavering commitment, passion, and service.
He stated that the incredible achievement belongs to every Lion in District 404B2; noting that the recognition reflects the collective efforts, dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence by all clubs, leaders, and members. “Whether you served at the club, zone, region, or district level, this victory is ours together.”
“Our district’s name will also be engraved on the Constitutional Area’s cup displayed at Lions International Headquarters. Once again, congratulations to every Lion of District 404B2. Brandmatters also gathered that the district 404B2 Nigeria actually set a standard for exceptional growth in the district, and this joint effort has yielded fruit by naming the district , ‘Jesse Robinson Membership Growth Cup Winner.’
Also a special recognition, will be given during the first plenary session at the Lions International Convention in Orlando, where the award winning District for 2024-2025 Lions Service Year will be honoured on stage and personally congratulated by International President Fabricio Oliveira.
