Enuma Save Children Initiative Chairman/Founder Becomes Lions Clubs District 404B2 Second Vice District Governor Elect.

Living a life devoid of community impact is a fruitless existence, for our lives are meant to be defined by compassion, kindness, and service to humanity; especially to the vulnerable and innocent children. Knowing fully that the true essence of life lies in making a meaningful impact on others, this and many reason Lions International came into existence, with 1.4million members scattered over 200 countries, and geographical areas with 49,000 Clubs touching and impacting the communities.
One of these kind-hearted members is Lion Dame Origho Phina Nwando, Chairman/Founder of Enuma Save the Children Initiative, who over the weekend was elected as the Second Vice District Governor for 2025/2026 Lions Service Year, by Lions Clubs of District 404B2 Nigeria at the just concluded Multiple District Convention, held in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. Her official role commences 1st July 2025.
In her appreciation speech, she commended her fellow contestants Lion Anita Nana Okuribido, and Lion Matthew Ilemobayo Faphounda for their courage, sportsmanship and outstanding dedication to the ideals of Lionism. “Your passion for service and commitment to excellence inspire me, and I look forward to teaming up with both of you to lift District 404B2 to even greater and more enviable heights. Let us continue in unity and with purpose. God Bless Lions Clubs District 404B2 Nigeria, and God Bless Multiple District 404 Nigeria.” Origho stated.
The Second Vice District Governor elect, also expressed her inner joy to Lions Clubs of District 404B2 Nigeria for believing in her campaign slogan Lighting The Way; For A Better Tomorrow’ and campaign vision , ‘BEHOLD’, which stands for Branding; Expansion and Excellence; Humanitarian; Openness; Leadership; and Diligence.
“Thank you, my fellow Lions with a heart full of gratitude, I, Lion Origho Phina Nwando humbly express my sincere appreciation to all the delegates and Lions of District 404B2 Nigeria for electing me as your Second Vice District Governor Elect. To everyone who believed in the BEHOLD vision, I say, thank you for your trust, your votes, and your unwavering support. I give you my emphatic assurance; you will not be disappointed. Together, we will bring that vision to life, and our enviable District will shine brighter than ever.” She assured.
Earlier, she stated that her intention was to inspire members and collaborate with top corporate companies and organisations both home and abroad to prioritise service above self-interest and improve the lives of others, lighting the way for a better tomorrow.
