Foundation Provides Free Textbooks to Needy Students

The Tola Olukilede Foundation and Heal the Word Movement are gearing up to give free English and Mathematics textbooks to financially struggling high school students preparing for the West African School Certificate Examination in Nigeria. This initiative kicks off in Ondo State, the founder’s home state.

With education at its core since 1999, the foundation, under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Tola Olukilede, aims to extend beyond scholarships. Prompted by a divine mandate in 2023, their focus now includes practical and physical support, beginning with distributing vital textbooks in foundational subjects. The first phase concentrates on Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, Ondo State, followed by other schools in Ilaramokin.

Emphasizing the importance of English and Mathematics, the foundation stresses the necessity of mastering these subjects for success in higher education. Future plans involve providing school uniforms and shoes for economically challenged students.

Apostle Dr. Olukilede underscores the responsibility to address educational gaps, aiming to prevent long-term challenges for these students and their contributions to the nation.
