BREAKING NEWS: Enormous Gas Leakage at Ikeja.
The acting coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye has confirmed a huge gas leakage around Oba Akran, Awolowo Road, Computer Village, Anifowoshe and Medical Road, Ikeja, Lagos State.
Farinloye called in on a live TV programme in the morning to report the development and how important it is to safely stay away from the affected areas to safe lives.
Brandmatters gathered that residents at affected areas have been advised strongly not to open shop and stay away from affected places to protect them from environmental pollution.
According to him agencies are on ground to ensure safety at the site. “We want to implore people to stay away from the scene.” Farinloye submitted.
