Mr. Kunle Soname, owner Bet9ja, one of the biggest betting sites in Nigeria with world – class standard, offering high betting on major sporting events in Nigeria will be the Chairman of the Day at Lions Clubs District 404B2 Nigeria on Sunday 8th August 2021 at Eko Hotel and Suites.
The Bet9ja boss has given his words to be at the forthcoming Investiture of Lion Kayode Oshinuga. The ceremony is an avenue for fund raising to aid humanitarian projects and services, especially the eye-catching international standard type of a proposed Eye Clinic at State Hospital, project worth of millions.
According to the District Governor, Lion Kayode Oshinuga, Lions Clubs International is the world largest service organization and her primary focus is to serve the community and making the world a better place.
He said, the International President theme for this year is ‘Service From The Heart’, while the District’s is ‘Service: Our Way Of Life.’ Noting that this Lions Service Year Programmes will reflect on the themes, especially as Lions Motto is “We Serve”.
In his words, “It is therefore necessary to remind you great Leaders of our association, my fellow Lions, my family members, my professional colleagues and of course my friends and well meaning Nigerians to start planning ahead of Sunday, 8th August 2021″. Oshinuga said.
He stated that the core project for the Lions Year is a proposed Eye Clinic at State Hospital in Arowomole, Ogbomoso, Oyo State as Lions Clubs all over the world is known for Sight First.
Similar, the Investiture and Fundraising Planning Committee Chairperson, Lion Alhaji, Abiodun Adediji said that the objective is to raise good amount of fund to support the government in the humanitarian causes as government cannot do it all alone.
Hear him, “it is impossible for any government to shoulder the responsibility of community service alone”. We need partnership and collaboration with the government to build the nation and making it a lovely place to live”. He submitted.
